Jungle Book Performance
Today was the Jungle Book performance and everything went great. The first show was definetly a lot better than the second show even though they were both pretty good. After the first show everyone went to eat at a TEX-MEX restaurant called Anamia's. After the second show we went to Carvel. Overall the summer camp was really fun. I'll be doing another one in about a month. It will be Jack and the Beanstalk. I am really planning on getting Jack in it, but I won't know for sure until the time comes. Thanks for listening about the camp. Thanks. Oh yeah and one more thing. In the first show Mowgli who sings really well but was hoarse wasn't able to sing her song in the first show because it was too high so she ended up singing it in the second show. It turned out very well.

Jungke Book Rehearsal
Rehearsal today was absolutely terrible. After like the first 10 minutes of practice, I had lost my voice. That was when we started singing higher notes =(. I was screeching like all of the notes which sounded horrendous. So then I just acted like I was singing loudly. Everything else just went normally because I didn't really have to sing high. All I had to do was say my lines and sing my solo which was mid-range for me. Just the day before, I had sung the song for one of the directors named Shelly who thought I did very well except I had just sung a little too high at one part. So when I sang it then after remembering to sing a little lower, Lauren said that I did perfectly. Then I did it today it sounded terrible, screechy, and crackly. The director that listened to it today's name is Shelly. She thought that it was way too high for me and way out of my range. She just so happened to not know that I have laryngitis. After hearing me sing it Shelly didn't even want me to sing it! She wants me to TALK it! So yeah. It really stinks now because I have laryngitis and I have a singing solo to do. Thanks for listening to the story of how camp was today. Bye.

Rehearsal in the Jungle Book
Today was a great day of rehearsal. We practiced what the directors called "89%" of the production today. We have only 4 1/2 day to memorize the entire performance that happens to be 1 hour and 5 minutes long. Think it's impossible? You're wrong.I have done a production with this same company before. The company is a worldwide theatre company called Missoula Children's theatre. I found out today during the rehearsal that not only am I a popular and cool wolf, but there are like 8 other girl wolves that are madly in love with me in the play and they drop dead if they see me because of my stength, cunning looks, bravery, and popularity. They have to say things like "He's so strong" (blush). And stuff like "looking good Akela". They always laugh at their lines because it's all just acting. One of them likes me more than any of them and have to say a lot of more remarks that show that she likes me and after the rehearsal she told me that the only way that she's able to say those lines is if she imagines that I'm Johnny Depp(in my opinion way too many girls like Johnny Depp). Thanks for listening to my story about what happened at the rehearsal.
My Role in the Theatre Production
Sorry that I wasn't able to get this information to you yesterday as I had planned, but it doesn't change the fact that it's good news. Since the theatre production Jungle Book has the main character of Mowgli, and generally Mowgli would have the most lines right? Well in this performance that statement still holds true but my part is a lead role too that has just about as many lines. So I am very happy with my part. My part is the lead wolf who is really cool and brave that everyone admires. His name is Akela. Thanks for listening.
